guyadawson
Ok, not LR related, but people here are way more helpful than elsewhere. The windows on my Renault have a metal plate bonded to the glass, which attaches to the regulator. I'm assuming the bonding agent is similar to the stuff holding the windscreen in my Range Rover. Problem is, the driver's window is parting company with it's plate. So, the question is, can anyone tell me the best way to re-attach the plate
landroversforever
Id have guessed that something like sikaflex would work?
Lewis
Use Dinitrol 530 as a primer/adhesion promoter, and Sikaflex 255FC to bond it on
miketomcat
There is a proper sikaflex and primer for glass also arbo do one as well. Mike
Lewis
255FC is for direct bonding of glazing and metals. Doesn't get much more proper We have had excellent results in testing when using Diniteol 530 as an adhesion promoter, hence my recommendation above
miketomcat
Didn't mean it as a dig just I've used the sika and primer but can't remember the numbers. Mike
