Mo Murphy
Is there a figure for the depth the dipstick tube should be inserted to, to get the correct height for the dipstick and thus the correct oil level ? TIA Mo

Retroanaconda
I'm sure I've seen Ralph post a service bulletin on this before. Would be useful to see it again, my 200Tdis each have a different length tube
Sirocco
Imsure I read somewhere that they slip which causes your readings to be wrong. cant remember where I saw it, but Im sure it was for the 200tdi's only. There were measurements given to. I will take a look on google... G an older post, but worth reading: http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=28879
