What springs and mounts are you using them with?
-
On a serious note - where does the 110 get the extra travel from? is it just on the back?
-
I'm just indulging in a bit of unreasonableness
I like them all
-
Get with the times??
Defenders are timeless!

I take my concrete with marmite

Perhaps a 101 is someone's who probably won't grow up to be a Man's car - after all he's still playing soldiers
-
Its easy ....
A Range Rover is a snobs car
An old Range Rover owner is someone who aspires to a snob
A very old Range Rover owner is someone who thinks snobs are knobs
A Defender 90 is a Man's car
A series is an old man's car
A 110 is Man who's almost old and who feels he should be practical's car
Any discovery is a Man's wife's car or someone who practically isn't a Man's car
-
It gives two prices - one for in advance and one for on the day - so I presume you can!
-
The headlights on my 90 are used almost exclusively on unlit country roads - and illuminate the road comparably to the lights on the RX8 I got rid of - which had those Xenon HID things.
Not as white or intense perhaps - but being higher up they have a better spread and still plenty bright enough.
Maybe they were upgraded before I got it? If so it'd be the only mod the truck had done.

So is a simple engine swap covered by just ticking the box and providing the new cc and number?
-
Mine are standard 99 Td5 as far as I know and are really powerful !?
-
Does it say how you should let them know?
ie does sending the V5 back with the box ticked for change - and giving a new cc and engine number enough? would they then either just accept the changes or prompt you for more information - or is the onus on you?
Because if the onus is on you it doesn't specify that on the V5 that you should do more than notify then through its use.

If you're the landowner prosecute them if you can - at least report them to the police.
Working through the system would be the best result I think.

A pto driven pump is a different story of course

40mm seems a lot?

(If you're talking about the TD5) then just buying the blanking plate isn't enough to get a proper set up.
Just fitting a blanking plate will still leave a hugely restrictive butterfly still in there - and there are different ways to deal with the vacuum pipes too.
Check out this web page for info.

I'd like to get there - are we all going to wear a carnation?

If you alter the suspension you aim to increase travel on both the compression and the rebound stroke. Increasing compression travel effectively moves the wheel further up into the arch, if this is combined with fitting larger tyres you can run into clearance issues.
So if you fit +2" shock mounts on your wheel will move 2" further up into the arch (assuming the spring doesn't become coilbound beforehand). If your tyres also are 2" (for eg) bigger then your looking at 4" in total. I'm not sure how much space you have from standard though - as I've yet to measure up or find the info on here anywhere.
-
Great - I have a biggish compressor already but some of those tools are an excellent price.
