i can only compare them to insa turbo sahara/greenway machos/yokohama geolandar kinda tread but they do seem to be a very good all round tyre, work well in sand. Very little road noise from them to

on the note of mounting anchors, where how do people mount their x eng anchors? ive seen a few across the front but i occasionally enjoy driving into trees so need it out of harms way. I like the idea of mounting it across the pick up bed but need a few ideas for quick release mounts

ideally i was after a cheviot one but they dont seem to be producing them anymore. I also modified the scorpion bumper to fit an 8274. With some divine guidance it turned out to be easy, all i had to do was trim down the lip at the back and redrill some holes. Also adding some braces to give it abit more support to help it cope abit better with twin motors.

to get the winches to fit is it a simple case of redrilling some holes or is it abit more involved?

very nice, are any of the centre hawses left? or is there anywhere i could get my mits on one?

i recently ordered the 8274 bumper, at the time i might have been abit excited and not read the details properly but after going back a week later it said they were temporarily unavailable, so i emailed them to see what was going on. The reply said they could no longer produce them with the A bar but would be coming out with a new one in about a month, after reading the above though i wont be holding my breath

so is this a play day with some punches if you want a crack at them? ill be there

ltwt1981 thought i better let you know Ben and Martin Champion couldnt make it due to alternator complications. Came to spectate though and it looked good fun. Took a few pictures but fell in the mud which upset me and the camera greatly.
