  1. Hi Adrian, They are 155 / 165 15 (yes 15 a rule to work to is the tube is 1" smaller than the rim diameter! Dan
  2. Massive Thanks to all involved with setting the event up and i'm so glad that the AWDC went ahead with the event! I had never competed at Walters before, I wana go back NOW! Fantastic selection of terrain! Each section was different in its own way! we really enjoyed the 'NEW' timed sections Really pleased to see Team Gunit and Barry Gee getting results, well deserved boys!! I still can't believe the size of the site! I don't think we have ever covered that many miles in a winch challenge Can't wait to see all the videos and pictures that were taken! When we were in timed section 18 (AWESOME) there must of been nearly 10 people pointing cameras in our direction! Looking forward to the next round and would recommend everyone to sign up for it! Thank you to GOODWINCH for the generous prizes Dan
  3. There not fragile! I got one next to me on my desk that I use for demos! I hit it with a hammer I wouldn't worry about breaking them! - you could also combine both filters in to these:http://www.lightforce.net.au/files/pdfs/Filters.pdf (combo filters) or just put the filters behind your seat? Dan
  4. Looking forward to the first round! Never been to Walters before..... Kev Pocock and Dan Elias I'll send the entry in next week Neil! Dan - best get a new helmet!
  5. Yup! As Bob say they work very well on the side, up side down and enjoy a good back flip! Dan
  6. I only use 1 Contactor to power 2 winch motors! Always have on 12 volt with the motors in Parallel! Never let me down! Alot of people only run 1 - have a look at the next event you will be surprised! I was codriving for a car at three peaks which had an individual contactor for each motor and when one failed it was masked by the winch still working! If there is only one fitted you know if it is working or not straight away! Just make sure the terminals are clean and tight and it will be fine! Dan
  7. Gordon. If your still looking give me a shout Dan
  8. http://www.arbil4x4.co.uk/ If you contact ARBIL they will direc tyou to your local Supplier
  9. I used the sealskinz ones! good for hiking etc... but not for competiion! Boothy... Try seaching for Sealy gloves they are like the Devon ones! but cheaper and these are double stitched on the thumb and fingers so the don't split open after one event Or If you can wait till feb time next year... I should be able to supply you some nice new ones Dan
  10. But IF and i'm saying IF it is the same product, there isn't more choice? because it may be the same product so it's just another retailer distributing the same product that is already in the Uk? With most companies in the 4x4 parts retail side in the Uk, they will source any product the customer is after so surely the paucity of choice is more down to the product on the market in the world not just in the Uk or the questions being asked to the wrong company? Dan
  11. If every one seems to be happy or Ok with Terrafirma shocks............... Why not just support the Brand and go direct to a recognised supplier? Instead of buying 'Grey Products' its not like there Expensive any way?? and you will also be buying and receiving a good warranty? I'm sure that if a Dealer was approached a Group buy could easily be arranged . Dan
  12. I didn't make any promises! We only managed one Fall over this year Dan

  22. Fantastic weekend and a great way to end the season / Howling Wolf series. Felt very weird being a passenger and not a driver, this year but I really enjoyed it! Really enjoyed the night section with a bit of speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed in it! . Shame our turbo hose came of on the trial gate section other wise we wouldn't of needed to winch out at the end. We seemed to make the right decision early on sunday and go straight in to the 'outback' then to the road, and only hit traffic in one section! Really enjoyed the sections and it was nice to finish the day! An added bonus to walk away with 1st in class as well! I liked some of the steep drops just wish I had been driving! but is always fun sending some one else over the edge! . Really enjoyed the new section lay out with the tape! makes you think and you can take a different line to everyone else if required! As a competitor and a sponsor I would like to Thank Neil, Carol all the marshals, scrutineers and everyone else involved in the running of the event for the 2 years that I have been involved with it. I also look forward to supporting what ever Neil has planned for us next year. As ever at slindon there seemed to be plenty of cameras out flashing all over the place..... Where are all the pics? I do believe some one will also have a picture of me when I kinda got a bit excited and jumped in to a trench of lovely cold water very early on in the day, to Kev's amusement. Also Thank you so Simon for the head torch See you all next year! Dan
