Just one question, if doing this without stripping the complete hub, how do you get the spring over everything with out stretching it or does one just re-use the spring from the old seal? Thanks in advance, Pete.

Alternatively go to the run prompt and type in the or cut and paste the following will remove messenger completely:- RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.remove Hth Pete.

That engine is used in Eurocopter AS355 twin squirrels and Bell jet rangers, IIRC. I don't have any information or diagrams but I did used to work on these occasionally. HTH Pete.

Hi, Have been hanging around on here for a while, but not posted much as I have not had anything to ask. However, The immobiliser on my 1996 300TDi Auto with EDC is showing early signs of imminent death, ie not always de-immobilising. I have done the usual and changed the remote batteries and also fitted a new good vehicle battery. But every now and then the car will not start (in fact all I get is the usual dash lights but not the starter turning.) if I wait between 5 and 10 minutes the damn thing starts fine. So anyway I decided after reading Bogmonsters guide to spider repair (and being an electronics engineer with no fear of soldering) to take the dash apart (was also fitting a new headunit) and repair the little black box. Here arrises the problem, Dash all out, expect to see little black box but nothing there, B****r, Ok consult the RAVE disc I have (North American but close enough) and find that the EDC equipped vehicles don't have the little black box!!!!!. So as the title says, how do I disable/remove/bypass the immobiliser and alarm from my wagon? Ideally would like to junk the whole system and install an aftermarket one at a later date. Anyone help? My Rear one does this also. found that the slider attached to the glass should have a plastic bush in it that then engages with a pin on the lifting mechanism. This is missing on one side of mine causing it to rattle. I have no idea where to get a new one however. HTH. Pete.
