I'd suggest either using alloy or monal rivets with a polyurethane sealant (tiger seal/sikaflex) to reduce electrolysis between dissimilar metals. Have a look at ibex body construction.

"hot, female and mechanic" you might find one of the three lol. Welcome.

Worst comes you'll just have to iva it they can't ignore that.

Have a look at foers ibex vector winch system it's what your trying to do but plus a bit. However I am building an ibex 300 (thread in special builds) and if you look through that you will see it's not simple at best you'll need a special tank some serious welding and in your case possibly a flap in the load bay or mounting the winch upside down for access.

As above you can remove it. all it is, is a one way restriction valve ie full flow as you depress the clutch and a reduced flow on the return the idea is for smoother gear changes but to be honest if you use a clutch properly you won't notice any difference.

Your 90 should have 235/85x16 or 265/75x16 both were fitted from the factory. You can fit 285/75x 16 but these are bigger than standard and will through your Speedo out the other way. Your cheapest option is to buy a second hand set of wheels and tyres (you should be able to find some the same as yours with the correct tyre size) then sell yours you may even find someone willing to swap if they are returning a disco to standard. I paid £350 for a set of 5 alloys with good tyres. Failing that you can fit either of the first 2 sizes I list to a disco rim.

I still get an eBay screen with no results.

Link not working.

I've never tried it, but a wood router is supposed to cut it OK.
Yes it does I forgot about that method in fact if you rough it out with a jigsaw, make a template out of mdf or similar then use a cutter with a guide bearing you'll get a perfect job. I've got to do the exact same thing to fit a mantec snorkel to the ibex.

About the only bit that doesn't seem to rot is the chassis unless it's a td5 then that rots as well. I have a disco (200tdi) here that I reckon if you hit the brakes hard enough you could get the body off.
Having said that there are some very clean rot free ones out there and in my opinion it's the best all round land rover ever built.

And I believe 300tdi on 90'sAnd Range Rovers
Early rrc and disco axles had separate drive flanges.

Both work well use a coarse blade in the jigsaw though and don't let it get hot you can also plane and sand it as you would with wood.

Try holding the button up whilst working the handle or the same but with key held in the unlock position.

1952 my arse the only bit of it that old is some of the bodywork and I seriously doubt that VOSA/DVLA would have a field day.

200/300tdi have a rad that is way over size to the point they won't open the thermostat if left on tickover. Not sure about td5 though. I think the best thing you can do is make sure all the air goes through all the rads, intercooler etc and not round the sides though more air coming in isn't going to be a bad thing.

Just the matrix all you need to do is prize the hoses off one at a time with the engine running but not hot! You should hear the air blown out then get wet you can then put the hose back on and do the other one. Top up the header tank as necessary then go for a drive see if you have heat. Those two pipes are one of the highest points on the so air can collect there. If this solves it for a while but but the air comes back again you may need to check the head gasket.

Check for air in the heater matrix this can also be caused by the flow and return on the wrong way round (if you bleed the air out this won't matter).

Mine is a 10ton bench mount but go for the biggest and highest tonnage you can afford mine struggles with some lr bushes and it's never big enough there's always something that doesn't quite fit.

As if land rovers aren't un-aerodynamic enough.

Left hand drills help as there trying to unscrew it as you drill.

I'm pretty sure if you use the entire chassis and running gear from the disco with out altering the chassis (you can add just not remove) then bolt a range rover body on top you don't need an IVA as it will be a radical altered vehicle with more than 8 points. However it will need a VIC and will keep the disco registration.

I would ask for a replacement set if possible.

Is yours a disco engine if so have all the countersunk bolts been fitted in the bottom of the bell housing. As this allows oil down those bolt holes and would show it's self on the joint not the drain hole.

Will these will bolt straight onto my 2005 110 Defender?

Don't forget only a handful of alloys are weight rated for a 110 deep dish and boost are there is also some others can't remember the names though.
