  1. Sorry Phil, haven't got around to taking any yet! ?
  2. There certainly isn't. I've not driven the diesesal but the SC is a true J & H car. You can waft around like you are driving in your favourite arm chair but stamp on the loud pedal & the irritating prick in the Corsa just disappears in the rear view mirror. They are also very, very good off road for a 2.6 tonne barge. The whole package is so good I don't know what to do with the 4.6 110 The SC is currently averaging 12.4 MPG, whats the TDV8 doing Ed?
  3. I've never needed to crimp more than once on flexible cables such as you'd use for a winch. Put some heat shrink on the cable 1st then slide over the lug & shrink, looks much neater
  4. Welcome to the forum. I'm sure someone will be along to answer your freelander specific questions but I thought I'd post a quick reply to say forget polybushes, stick to genuine LR ones & you won't go far wrong
  5. Sorry, I thought that was for a year!
  6. It's all dutch to me. Not much different to how much it costs to tax a FFRR in the UK, £500 a year
  7. Exactly Phil, I seriously hope no one would be that daft Sorry George, don't understand that.
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RANGE-ROVER-L322-4-2-SUPERCHARGER-BREMBO-FRONT-BRAKE-PADS-XD-OEM-SFP500070-/130926424938?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e7bd2b36a Don't think I'll be fitting those
  9. "Don't buy this type : http://www.amazon.co.uk/DRAPER-SQUARE-CAPACITY-FILTER-WRENCH/dp/B00863024M/ref=sr_1_88?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1422732698&sr=1-88&keywords=oil+filter " Yep, that's the type I've tried in the past. Thanks.
  10. Can anyone recommend a good quality oil filter removal tool? Does one exist? I've tried a couple of cheap ones in the past but have always reverted to a hammer & an old screwdriver as they don't seem to work for me.
  11. http://www.landyspareparts.com/range-rover-l322-deployable-side-steps-1849-p.asp Bargain
  12. Eurocarparts on Fleabay. Hydraulic lifters seem quieter on the Valvoline than they did on Castrol. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330939454772?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  13. I paid £26.34 for 5 Ltrs which I don't think is expensive for "Race Quality" oil
