  1. for simplicity, Richard let's you and I take the spare team space and I'm sure someone else will fill in the other.

So DD, who's biatching for you?? If it's your bro, I need to find someone to co-drive for me.

Let me know and we will sort this out.

Is it one winch per team?? If so we'll be ok with mine, honestly :)

Also get Jonathan to give me a call as I have a week at the vets lined up when he wants to do it. He just needs to call them and sort out a time that's good for him. I'll give him no. and names etc.

    Cheers

  2. Stephen - can you be specific about the parts that you need ?

    Hi Adam

I think Stephen needs whole Transits.

BTW, just an aside in this weeks autocar, they imported a Ford Mustang direct from US by using a shipping agent and a company to get through SVA test. Import duty was 10% plus VAT.

Is it worth getting trucks from US, as they are so much cheaper?? Can't see that left hand drive can be too much of a problem there.

  3. Hi Bigfoot

As you say they don't come up that often secondhand.

They were originally made by Safety Devices. Now that they are up and running again you could get one off them. I have a spare one (without diagonal) but it doesn't have the backstay braces that bolt on to tub edge. Here are the numbers you need for Safety Devices..

RBL1115SNS Rear Military Style Hoop 2" with diagonal. Mounts through cappings into bolt-in corner brackets. Backstays go to waist rail cappings.

RBL1114SNS Rear Military Style Hoop 2" without diagonal. Mounts through cappings into bolt-in corner brackets. Backstays go to waist rail cappings.

    Their new contact details are..

    Safety Devices International Ltd

  4. Yes Safety Devices is up and running again under a new company name, so I assume that they wound the old one up owing suppliers etc.

Now operating out of an office in Newmarket with production now in Poland. Can't see how lower labour/manufacturing costs are going to work though. Always seemed to me that it was poor marketing and Mgmt that let it down not the products or skilled workforce.

    Cheers
