  1. It does in some and not in others. I saw those but wasnt sure on the branding. Think i may have to phone round on monday
  2. Does anyone know if the sfp500190 part number for 90 rear pads contain the pad retaining clips/pins? Exploded diagrams seem to show that it does? Yet pictures show different and ive read that some pads dont. No real issue if not, could just save £3/4 thats all
  3. Perfect again. Your knowledge is incredible. Another cheap fix, thanks a lot western
  4. Despite moving the steering wheel, will it still be okay to do what Western has suggested? The problem was there before i adjusted the steering wheel
  5. Thanks. And yeah i did adjust the steering wheel but it was like it when i bought it (without me messing with the steering wheel). Cheers too western
  6. Hi, The indicator on my 96 90 is playing up. Noticed it since i bought it 3 weeks ago and its fine turning left. But turning right, as soon as the wheel is turned even very slightly its canceled immediatley. Infact i barely can indicate right! Not sure it this is also MOT fail issue. But regardless its quite annoying. Do i require a new stalk? Or is it something else? Cheers
  7. Cheers for the replies fellas. Some interesting thoughts there. Yeah im just looking at the standard drive flanges really. On a budget really, but by no means will buy cr*p
  8. Has anyone got any experience of these? Are they up to the job? They're a good price Going to be using the 90 offroading mainly and little miles per year. Nothing serious though. Thanks in advance
  9. Sorted guys, was worrying about getting it wrong on the spline. Mods feel free to remove thread! Thanks
  10. Hi Just come to do the steering UJ's with allmakes parts. The bottom UJ, the holes for the bolts seem to match. No problems Yet the top UJ, it seems like the UJ has been assembled wrongly, so that the holes for the bolts dont line up. I beleive that there are flat spots on the spline, to allow for the bolts to go through the UJ. So is this a faulty part? Or is it me?
  11. Perfect as usual western. Helping the noobs about such as myself. Very greatfull. Cheers mate
  12. Thanks western, exactly what i needed to hear. And they will fit fine with the 552818 bushes?
  13. My bad guys, the illustrations confused me. I take it the rubber bushes themselves differ from certain models. Yet the washers stay the same?
  14. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/320985851568?nav=SEARCH Are these suitable for the 512818 bushes. Exploaded diagrams seem to show more parts than in this ebay listing though
  15. They are all that much of a miss match that i have no idea what im ment to have with the bushes i have ordered
  16. Hi there, Ive come to replace my rear shock lower bushes on my 1996 defender 90. The previous owner has replaced the rear shocks and has made abit of a cow boy job out of it. On one side ive got bushes that are shaped more bowl shaped. And the other side ive got more straight bushes that sit in domed cups so to speek. I think the easiest option would be to replace the spacers/cups with a kit. Ive ordered four 512818 bushes for it, but which spacers/cups do i need as i seem to have a right miss match? The exploaded diagrams dont seem to show different cups. So i am unsure of which ones to buy. Or are all cups the same and its just the bush that changes. Thanks alot
  17. Cheers guys. Tried and bought one off ebay, it was just plastic ducting that wouldnt provide a good seal really. That thermoplastic rubber ducting sounds as close to genuine as i will find. Thanks again.
  18. I tried quickly. Most the links didnt seem to work because the posts were old
  19. Hi guys, Im after some 76mm I.D induction hose thats non PVC. That will allow a good tight seal thats flexible a metre long to go from the safari snotkel right up to the airbox! Ideally similar to the original induction hose but longer. Will be siliconed onto snorkel and air box on my 90 300tdi. Many thanks
  20. I thought the same western. Think I'll give it ago, im a right tight arse ££ haha
  21. Does anyone know if this hand brake switch can be used? Looks identical to the land rover one at half the price? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Handbrake-Warning-Switch-24B30-/281229751854
  22. Thankyou mate. Just noticed on the diagram and westerns hand brake cable write up that the spade and bullet connector wire is missing. On further inspection, i have a hand brake switch also, the spade terminal has just broken off. Thanks for clearing things up
  23. Also, the black and grey/red tracer are wrapped in the same tape if that helps
  24. Bit of an update fellas, found the wire colours. One of the wires is grey with red tracer with a female spade terminal One is black with a female spade terminal The other is white with yellow tracer with a female bullet connector. All of which seem to come from similar location to the multi plug connector to the left of my thumb in the picture. Any ideas?
  25. Is that the connector to the left of my thumb is the picture? Does that mean i have all the connections for the handbrake light? I'll have a look at the wire colours when i get back tonight. Cheers
