i have a 300tdi n plate discovery what is the correct amp battery i fitted new s motor cleaned all connections on a cold morning still turns over slowly it has a 100 amp alternator charging ok maybe a dodgy batt

mine been on for about 2 weeks sounds better and a reduction in fuel consumption hard to say if any difference in performance

i agree with you definently a drop in fuel consumption and does seem a little bit more power i think the removal of egr has also helped cheers chris

im looking to fit a snorkel on my discovery there is many on the market which do you suggest will it improve performance or is this a myth

the ecu is as far a i am aware is located behind radio its a black box with a 10 pin plug going to it to remove it the only way i know is to remove dashboard unless anyone has an easier way good luck

the cat has been off for a week now also egr valve has gone i know its early but it has been 5 pound cheaper to fill up this week still done same mileage as last week let me know if any one has noticed any difference

i had a very similar problem with drivers door after tating inner liner off i cleaned all contacts and sprayed all contacts with gt80 so far its been ok locks on button and unlocks

hello i have used motorola ht600e on pmr 446 these come from e bay ex police radios giving about 4 mile range with riot mikes the radio can be stuck beside seat and you just hold hand set i bought 4 of these with charger for 50 quid about 12hr batt life im looking at some kenwood tk350 so ill see how these perform these are smaller i keep you posted on their performance

we have a lorry at work this has a 24v starting system but everything else is 12v it has a winch fitted which as far as i am aware runs off the 24v system i think the alternator is 24v and the 12v system comes off only 1 batery ill have a look and see how its wired

ill stick it on and see if anything happens it cost nothing so ive got nothing to lose

im getting more amd more confused ill stick it on for a month and see what happens

i was thinking of that when you read the sales literature this is better than sliced bread all i can see happening is the fuel line eventually being full of tiny metal particles

i was given an ecoflow which appears to be a magnet housed in a plastic case this lump attaches to fuel line by two tie wraps its supposed to clean engine and cut fuel consumption has any body got one or using one does it do any good

10k boost is it any good does it work or has anyone have any better potions

hello replaced front pipe yesterday with a defender with no flexy it was the flexy that had gone on cat pipe ill just have to keep an eye on vibration but i cant see it being a problem ill see what hapens does sound a bit more throaty hard to tell if any more performance bosal make just the flex pipe which you can weld in for about 25 quid

thanks for that removed cat yesterday front pipe for a defender bolted straight on cant rearly tell if any difference in performance appears to sound a little bit more throaty egr has been off for about 3 weeks as you said plenty of carbon in inlet manifold ive been told that 10k spray will remove this without removing manifold after i had took manifold off maybe silicone hoses will be next i also washed out intercooler which had some oil inside probably from turbo as you said it had a new head pistons and liners injectors when i got vehicle

removed cat today replaced with a defender front pipe fitted no problems bosal do make a front pipe with flexy pipe no cat for discoverys up to a 1998 its about 70 quid

im going to remove front pipe and replace with a non cat pipe its only 30 quid ill keep cat for mot if it fails if i copper ease studs it should come apart easier ill see if it makes any difference on performance
