  1. Hi, I have a Def 90 V8 1989 and I would like to convert to auto. I have just removed last weekend a auto box+ all other bits from a 1988 Range Rover V8EFI. Prior to dismantling the box, I was able to try it only in 1st gear forward and reverse 2-3 times due to limitation of space and flat gone tires...It worked beautifully forward and revere. The car showed 70.000 miles and the engine was working so sweet that could justify the miles as correct. Now comes the question: do you think I should risk and install the auto box as is (only changing the filter) or should I strip down and overhaul??? I just need your experience with such gearboxes... I know that nobody can be sure but what is your feeling?
  2. Something like this could do the job. It is very easy to make one. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Landrover-special-steering-wheel-tool-puller-Land-rover-/120728832822?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c1bffcb36
  3. I know at least 2 Complete shells with doors, wings, glasses even partial interior, but they are in Greece unfortunately. I guess they would be selling really cheap...so maybe is worth to check transport cost. One of them can be seen at this link http://www.lrgreece.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=253 which is a Greek Land Rover forum. Any more info, please feel free to ask. The second one will be broken down on Saturday so if you are interested I can ask for photos.
  4. Used to have the following in the past. Engine just died and after a few mins started again perfect running. problem was with the electronic ignition module when warm. I replaced it and is ok.
