hi was just wondering if anyone has fitted 4 point harnesses in there truck cab and if so where did you fit the upper mounts?

ok cheers, mine have sat for 3 years without use so im expexting the pistons to be seized solid so if they are an upgrade to vented discs is on the way.

evening, im just wondering what i would all need to convert from my solid front discs to vented discs besides discs and calipers?

surely wi the 3 point you wouldnt get a crushed crotch as the 3rd point is where the to main lashes meet behind the seat, would get a crushed crotch with a 5 point perhaps

hi, anyone know the part number for the first tube from wiper motor to wheelbox on the early 90's (1985), ordered one from lrdirect but the part that came was way too short and its the only part i can find listed online.

evening, iv bought a set of corbeau forza sports for the 90 and was wondering if its possible to buy a set of defender specific seat runners and if so if you know where i can get them? also im gona be fitting 3 point harnesses and was wondering about suggestions for the rear mount??

hi, iv been rebuilding the 90 and finally bout ten tonight i got round to fitting the driver side wing but the inner wing sat tight against my tubular turret causing the wing to sit wrong so iv removed the turret for now and the wing now sits perfect, the question is does anyone know a solution around this as i dont want to fiddle with the turret, the only other thought i had was a pair of turrets i found on ebaywhich arent tubular but just have two uprights front and back so surely this wouldnt interfere with the wing, anyone used these and if so are they any good?

two optimas fitted in a flatdog twin tray but on the old 90 the base of the tray needs trimmed by about 10mm to fit in the recess in the bottom of the battery box.

its the one with a solenoid and a little box that sits on the dash wi 2 buttons (link and auto)

hi, im rebuilding the 90 and wanna get some big tyres on her, iv cut out the rear arches to the level of the wheel wells for extra room and lifted it 2" but may go another 2 yet but the question is how big do you think i could go on tyres and still have a very usable offroader, currently im looking at 37" 13.50 r15's but honestly havent aclue if this would work.

hi iv fitted a disco lt230 transfer box to my 200tdi disco engined defender with lt77 box but im now round to wiring everything up but notice that the disco transfer box has a switch with 2 pins but my old one only had one pin, do i need to plug this up or can i swap the switches between the old and new transfer box?

its ok iv solved it now white/red was starter solenoid rite enough, thanks

hi, having trouble wiring the alternator on my 200tdi conversion, i have searched the forums for an answer but everyone has either 2 thick brown wires and a brown/yellow or black/white but i have 4 thick brown which at either end becomes joined to make 2 and a red/white with a spade connector on the end furthest from the alternator. now i know what to do with the brown but the question is what do i do with the red/white?

hi, bought that kit last year when i started my rebuild and had everything mounted up but the hoses didnt fit worth a s~*t so theyre goin on ebay and bein replaced with silicone once i eventually find a set.

evening all, just fitted a 200 disco engine into the defender and ready to fit the rad/intercooler, question is can you get silicone hoses for the coolant side of the conversion. iv trawled ebay and had many lonely nites searchin google but can only get the top rad hose and the intercooler kit. anyone any ideas or know whats needed to make my own set?

aye would be handy, how much you want for it?
