  1. Anyone any idea what this is and what it's part number is. Blooming bonnet blew down and broke it. It's on a 300tdi
  2. I was advised when rebuilding my 4.6 gems that it's better to run a bead of RTV instead of a gasket then once the sumps on and it sets run a sharp blade round to cut the bits that squeeze out.
  3. Looking for the part number for the banjo bolt and washers for a Bosch VE injector pump. Bolt is 12mm It's where i've got the long black bolt temporarily stopping dirt getting in....

  6. Iv just fitted a 300tdi into my 1986 90 but when i bought the vehicle the engine was already removed. Iv found a spare earth attached to the dash with a small ring terminal on the end, question is where would i attach it? Sorry should say in outside of the bulkhead.

  8. Ok so iv been looking for a TD exhaust system to mate to my steve parker downpipe on my 300tdi/lt77 but everyone i ring says the parts are now obsolete. Would anyone know if a 300tdi system will fit to this downpipe?

  10. Iv got a 4 bolt steering box which iv fitted to my 90 but it was originally in a 200tdi and now iv installed a 300tdi. Im lead to believe the fittings on a 300tdi are different. Would anyone know what i need to connect up to the 300tdi? Cheers

  13. Iv acquired a discovery 300tdi air filter box for use in my 300tdi/lt77 conversion. Just wondering if anyone has used this filter box in there vehicle and how did you mount it. Pictures would be very helpful. Cheers
  14. Ok so iv been out wiring up my 90 conversion but the 300tdi i bought came without a wiring loom. The 90 i bought had all pipes and wires labelled as the engine had been removed. Iv managed to get the starter, alternator, glow plugs, stop solenoid and oul presure switch wired in but im strugglung with the water temp sender. In the old 2.5na loom theres a green wire with a female connector stops approx 4 inch from where the terminals for the alternator connections are. Anyone any idea what this is? Also the loom had been bodged with an old block connector near the bulkhead and labeled water temp, but this is approx 12-14 inches from the sender. Iv extended the wire properly to reach the sender but need to know what i fit in the end of the cable to attach it to the temp sender?
  15. Iv since posting tried a half nut from a spare brake flexi and found this fits so just ordered a pack of 3 for under £6
  16. 2k8686l is the part number for the nut that holds the clutch flexi in place on its bracket. But £8 is a lot of cash for one nut. Does anyone know an alternative to this nut?
  17. Just after sowt cheap just now western. Motors just a runaround til i get my v8 finished then this one will get a few k thrown at it.
  18. Would anyone know the parts needed for the 2.5td exhaust from downpipe back. Cheers
  19. Thats some braw looking pipework foggy. Iv settled on the steve parker one for now as the motors just a runaround til i get my other finished then it will get a rebuild to but i aint overly impressed. Ill be honest, im not the best o welders but the term pigeon carp springs to mind and the finish is awful.
