  1. I did the same as what Will is proposing to do. I used 10mm plate as the sender unit is brass and a very soft thread, also allowed me to angle the plate Peter
  2. Not a series but might help!click here Peter
  3. How can giving a diesel a shot of gas help with fuel bills?I think long term it would cost you. But what I think you are after is running on gas which I think can be done at a cost, then you would cut fuel bills. I spoke to Andy about one shot at the 3peaks last year, it is just just a boost of power over a few seconds? sound very good though. Peter
  4. Yes I see that, still have most of what I need so not going for the shopping Do the Cevenol it's a great event. I thought that the Italian National had been closed to Brits, if not would be interested in doing that as well. Peter
  5. Not far then, about half the distance of the Cevenol event and a Tenth of the Morocco trips. I thought I read it was 50 Euros per vehicle plus food if you want it. I am looking for an easy trip to take the wife on and this fits the timing well. I have sent an e-mail with some questions, but no answer as yet. Can’t see the off roading to be to challenging, or to expensive either. Got fed up doing the Belgium National, so looking for something different. Regards Peter
  6. How about taking bottom swivle pin out and let it drain? Peter

  8. Found this it looks like its just a bit of laning and a meet June 23rd/25th. Peter
  9. Hi, Any one been before, or going to the Luxembourg National this year? Peter
  10. Thanks, Mine starts 17M. Will have to call supplier Tuesday. Cheers Peter
  11. Thanks Mark. That was my first thoughts, but it seems that every supplier has the same part No for the TD5 90 with ABS/TC I will fit it and see, the bearing outer is a tight fit so should not move and has no pressure on it. It could well self adjust if to tight as the outer would be pushed down if shims are not thick enough? Peter
  12. Hi, I am replacing a damaged swivel Part No FTC5105, the problem is that the one I have taken off has a ridge for the bearing outer to locate against top and bottom bearings, but the replacement only has ridge on the bottom bearing. This seems to be a change in production! But what stops the top outer bearing moving down and bearing becoming slack when assembled? Regards Peter
  13. Just to let you know, it was a broken earth wire from low/high switch, it also made my speedo act like a rev counter. The switch is normaly open. Cheers and thanks for input. Peter
  14. Thanks, it is an Auto so should be OK re jerking will have a look tomorrow. Peter
  15. Hi, My 90 has a miss fire only in low box, have changed the ECU and no faults found on old one. Any ideas please? Cheers Peter
  16. Hi Steve, Punch sent off to Paul today. Rear springs are now sorted made up some relocater’s from D44 rear with cone part cut off added two guides and a hook to catch spring to stop it falling out. Also cut middle out of a spare bottom spring seat, and welded to top of relocater to give me extra 1" lift works really well a very easy way to get a lift as could alter the height by adjusting the position of the welded on sprig seat, and you get a relocater all in one. I suppose I had better get a pattern on it fast . Just need to sort out the miss fire in low box. Regards Peter
  17. Hi Guy, The seal needs to be square and set in by about 2mm, grease the seal on the inside to lubricate it and keep it soft. Peter
  18. Hi, I have found the missing punch No 28, it was down it the vally below and to the right of the container only Paul and craig managed to get to it. Peter
  19. Thanks Si, may be an X-eng Item I know I am not the only one after these Peter
  20. Thanks Nige, Ok will take a high-grade alloy or try nylon. I am surprised I can't find these ready made I want to put them on the end of my bumper front and rear to divert the winch rope around. I use to have them on my Recovery trucks. Cheers
  21. Like Mike said. I have all the track's that LRO use and others, most are on the T4A and are accurate. It's follow the leader so other than to know where you are you won't need maps or GPS, but I would take both as to be prepaired for the worst, or if you break group and go it alone. I use a 276c and a 196 mainly for tracking but they are good on the road as well. I don't know of any other mapping that you can use with garmin of Morocco. Bloody hot August, take some cream for that tender white skin you have matt Peter
  22. Can anyone make me 4 X cotton reel type of shape roller's from stainless steel? 50mm wide 60mm high with a 14mm hole through middle need to taper to 30mm with a slight curve in centre. Many thanks & cost please. Peter
  23. Steve, are you drilling a Pilot hole about 3mm? Peter
