  1. Thanks Jim, My TD5 is Auto running a chip and Alisport large inter cooler with electric fans as I moved the Rad back 50mm so I could fit twin winch motors hence removing the viscous fan to give me more room:D I am having problems with heat in gear box after long runs up French/Potugal hills etc when the TC is unlocked once locked it is no problem. I am going to vent the bonnet to get rid of some heat that way but need to find a cool water supply to Laminova, hence the fuel cooler route but after taking a good look at that is is not on manly due to room available and water flow. Simon B said blank the water flow off to laminova the centre part so water is directed down the thin cooling tube's so going to do that and then see how that works, trouble is not too many mountain roads to try it on. Thanks Peter
  2. Jim I am taking mine off and replacing with a cooler for gear box not fuel, I am doing away with the fuel cooler and hoping the alloy tank will disperse the heat from fuel. Is your tank is in sun light? as Jules said it make a lot of difference. Do you have a cooler fitted at the moment? Peter

  4. Thanks for the advise, I think I will give it a go and see what happens my alloy tank is under the floor and is quite big so should help keep fuel cool. Thanks Peter
  5. Hi, Thinking about taking mine off and then use cooling pipe's to run through Laminova Gear box cooler, can any one see any problems? I do have a (beautiful) alloy tank fitted which would disperse the heat from fuel in tank, also know that the outlet from Rad is only a pin prick hole so will need to full flow it. Cheers Peter
