I have just mounted the Truwsteer steering box on the road, the steering is light and precise but when stationary it is heavy, I have 33 11.50 tires which weigh 50 kg complete with rims. I haven't tried it off-road. As soon as I try I'll update the post.

    Useful feed back!

Out of interest, what wheels and tyres? My 37"x12.5" Maxxis on wolf wheels are only 57kg a corner!

Found it for £25 on Amazon so have gone with that. Still seems like an extortionate amount of money for a plastic bottle. I can get a glass one full of nice grape juice for less!

Is the grape juice any good for degreasing? :P

As Ross says, thoroughly deserved - there was a time in the early days when there were a lot of really novel builds going on with a lot of knowledgeable folks throwing in great technical observations and tips, but a lot of those folks moved on or the builds finished, this has been a very welcome return to those days of really great technical stuff that sets this place apart.

If nothing else it's a reminder to the rest of us that it's all just metal and you can do a hell of a lot with it in a suburban garage with a bit of determination.

It really is a throwback to ones like the HOFS builds of yesteryear!

A fan is rarely needed, but it is folly to run without one at all except, perhaps, in Arctic conditions.  A long hill climb on a hot day, especially with any significant load, or a drive through mud or sand could cook an engine fairly swiftly if there is no fan to help.  Even sitting in very slow traffic on a hot day can raise temperatures well above where they should be without a fan.

Even then, my 200 only got hot when the rad was completely full of Welsh mud and even then, only when on the motorway.

That is always the case - early treatment is always smaller, less risky and has better outcomes than leaving it late, plus it minimises the duration of the issues of the injury.

My Nanna is a prime example of what not to do…. Leave joint issues and put it off so long it caused other problems and now she can barely walk.
