  1. Ah-ha! Yes, it is. Sorry. Based on what you've said about the size of the vents and the price, i'll give it a miss! I have an ulterior motive for making the 90 as perfect as possible; Once i've sold the DoKa i'll be selling the 90 to get an early Td5. The wife decided that she loves the 90 more than she ever thought possible, so we're going to stick with the recipe and upgrade to a newer one. Come the new year we should have £7k-ish.
  2. Bloody hell! I'm going to sell mine then!
  3. I see what you mean Ralph, but the top part of mine is split, hence when i saw the ebay bits i was interested.
  4. Hmm, it's been a long day... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Land-Rover-Defender-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  5. Hi, My dash is a bit manky in my 90, but i've found this lot (with the worlds worst photo) on ebay. Will they fit? Cheers
  6. Thanks for your comment about spacers too.
  7. LOL Yeah, that is the problem with sites like that
  8. That is a nice wheel. If Ralph or Les don't know if it'll fit, no-one does!
  9. These ones look like what you're after, cheaper than the second hand ones on ebay and they'll deliver too. http://dca.dominohosting.biz/dca/mpsdb01.n...SSIS%20SECTIONS
  10. Damn things always come too late. Got a set of Disco steels yesterday! Been offered a Disco axle so might get it to do the disc swap. It comes minus diff, so mine that's currently on the 90 will drop in nicely.
  11. I know i keep asking, but... How do i know what axles i have? I got underneath to find out what number they're stamped with so that i can order the correct seals from Paddocks, but i'm damned if i can find the number! Truck is a 1993, 'K' plate 200 Tdi with drum rear axle. If i buy one of the Discovery disc brake rear axles i've been offered, will my diff fit or will i have to change the drive shafts for my ones out of the 90? If i do that, will i be able to get alloys on or have i just negated one of the main reasons for changing it?
  12. Si, really gutted for you. I know the feeling when your heart sinks through your ring piece when the extinguisher doesn't do extinguishing. Been there. Best of luck with the rebuild
  13. I think they work on all, but it would be worth checking with the vendor if it's a specific application you're after.
  14. or you can mount it wherever you like but buy an electronic groundplane which does the job of a nice large sheet of metal. Here's one; http://www.4x4cb.com/public/menu.cfm?Category=516
  15. Sorry, didn't make myself very clear. Drilling more holes in the wheelarch bit of the tub isn't a problem and i've even made some nice 2" ally spreader washers ready. The problem is fixing the top mounting on the backrest to the side of the tub under the window. I'll take a couple of pics when i get back from shopping and post it so you can see what i mean. I also posted on the military forum and Russ (luckily a pongo) is going to have a squiz at the Wolf at his 'work'.
  16. Thanks very much. Glad to hear Truck is ok, she's a wonderful girl.
  17. Hiya Russ, Well, i'm 'told' that the Wolf spec seats are tubular framed and these are certainly tube framed. Exmoor Trim also sell Wolf Spec Rear Seats and these look identical to the pics on their website. I'm afraid i can't be any more specific than that mate, sorry. They look to me like there should be some sort of mounting plinth underneath the foot on the frame to lift the whole assembly about an inch. This would then put the top mount on the backrest inline with the holes under the rear window in the tub where the normal seat mounts. Maybe i should just make some spacers and stop posting questions!!!
  18. Forgot to mention, they're 2-seater, just incase someone thought i'd bought 3-seater ones!
  19. Hi, Bought Wolf-spec load space folding rear seats for my 90. How the hell do they fit in? They don't seem to be anywhere near other holes or mounting points and are narrower than the standard seat frames. Thanks very much
  20. Hi, Loosely related to your seats subjetc; I've just bought 2 (either side) Wolf Spec tubular frame 2-seater seats for the load area of my 90. Problem is, none of the frame mountings seem to correspond with the holes in my tub and the mounting brackets on my old flat frame seats are narrower and different. Any suggestions? Cheers.
  21. I know someone who got an early but low miles Td5 for £5k recently. Not all fully-tooled one like the one for sale here, just a boggo. Shows how slow the market is when you wave a bundle of cash at a dealer and get a car out of them that cheap. When we bought our 90 we offered a price to the dealer which at first he said he wouldn't take. Took a day and a half but after rejecting every 'deal' he offered, we got it for our offer. Certainly a buyers market at the moment, just like Fridge alluded to.
  22. Cool. My baby is going in for an operation tomorrow so it'll be a while before she can check the forum again...
  23. I had 265/75 C-Trax A/T's on 16" Boost Alloys on my 110 and that was with standard suspension. Rode beautifully.
  24. Funny you should say that, i've been looking at the 7" x 16" black modulars at Paddocks with a set of 235/85 A/Ts on.
