ukspike
Hi Guys. Does anybody know how the rear High level brake light fix's to the rear window of the later Defenders, my year old trucks rear brake light is very lose, so before I investigate I thought I would ask if anyone know how it fix's to the rear window, is it just stuck on, if this is the case I'll order the glue before I take it all apart. thanks. Spike.
Scotts90
There are two studs glued to the window, (AWR4647) the light assembly bolts to these. The cover is then screwed onto the assembly

Retroanaconda
If there's a problem that can't be solved with a 30-second tightening of a screw, then at a year old I'd be letting Land Rover sort it as presumably it would still be under warranty?
ukspike
Thanks guys sorted it out now many thanks. yes its only nine months old, but we left it to late in ordering it, at time or ordering there was only for some reason two left both hard tops, so we ordered a hard top, but as soon as we got hold of it March 2016 it went strait to a land rover speciesist to be converted into a station wagon, with new windows all round, they had not stuck the brake light cover bolts back on, it was just being held on by the soldered lugs, don't think we'll be using them again.
