Les Henson
EP90 leak from the outside of the wheel is most likely to be hub cap or drive member gasket. - Les.
DC_
I'll have a read up on that Les ta, reb78, I'm easily confused or it's the fact my dog was up half the night and my brain has shut down now ? How to test breather then?
reb78
If the breathers blocked (usually at the banjo fitting where it connects to the axle) you won't be able to blow down it with the filler plug removed.
western
take the axle end off breather off, clean the hole in end fitting & blow it through with air line [if you have a compessor] or a foot pump from the axle end, you should feel any air coming out of the other end, it's normal for ep90 to come out when the driving member is removed, put a blob of oil or grease in the rubber end cap before refitting it, it will keep the splines lubricated at the outer end & therefore last much longer.
DC_
Well the banjo was like this...... After runnng the compressor through the breather all was ok. A good clean up and all is good.
