mad_pete
Got a lovely new x defend pedal box. A bit scratched but maybe the paint will cover that. What's the best way to paint it and what's best to paint it with (I want orange). Can you stick carpet to give some grip to the floor section ? mickeyw
Shame it's scratched! Mine came with the plastic protective sheeting attached, but that was when Si was getting them made I see no reason to paint it. Mine is plain stainless and looks the part. I have a rubber mat sitting on top to reduce noise and rattles (not so many with a V8 ?), and that folds up with the pedal lock. I can't see paint staying on a floor panel for long! mad_pete
Maybe I'll fit it and see how it looks (maybe using normal nuts first :-) ) Only half of the metal is protected with a film, the other has 2 lots of scratch marks on. I'll have my feet on it but still. Looks worse than the camera can pick up properly .

Roverdrive
I used some non slip board tape for a skateboard deck. Works great

mad_pete
I went with skate board grip tape from Halfords. Sticks and grips really well.
