Cornish Rattler
Hi guys I know the tool for setting the swivels on a series truck is a pulling weight tool like a fisherman would use for weighing fish but if you don't have such tool is there anything else you can use instead, would the old gauge type torque wrench work pulling on a top arm bolt
Bowie69
Honestly.... I use 'feel'. If it flops from one side to the other and/or rattles - Too loose Actually quite tough to turn by hand - too tight. I've set stuff up to spec before and have had to pull it apart again to do it by feel to make it right.
Peaklander
I bought a little spring scale on eBay. They are just a few £. If you do buy one just make sure that you pick one with a small range. Don't get a 50Kg span as then you definitely can't pull and hold whilst trying to tighten. Went I first did mine, I had no idea how sensitive the steering would be to this setting but I think as Bowie says, it's probably not that much! Cornish Rattler
Cheers guys that's the way I've always done them but always ended up with slight heavy steering but possibly because I never replaced everything as I am on this one so it should be right this time
Peaklander
You'll need a selection of shims to be able to get to the correct combo.

Cornish Rattler
Cheers guys, they are all sorted now not too tight and not too loose, obviously I will re-check them once I have used them a bit

Generally they end up too loose when done that way. (Now reminding myself that the 110's swivels need tightening up.)
