Just fitted new door seals to my disco 1 and now the drivers door has to be leant on in order to get the handle to open the door ! Anyone have any experience of dealing with this ? I have to hit the door wiv me bum to get it to open.. get some strange looks when in public c/park I think it must be somthing to do with a worn latch meck'nzm.. geoffbeaumont Posted December 12, 2006 Share Posted December 12, 2006 I'd give it a couple of weeks before you adjust anything, though - I fitted a new door seal to the rangie a while back and had the same thing, but it bedded in and stopped doing it after a while.
