KrisDR
Been busy removing all interior trim from my 89 two door RRC. Some of it is quite faded. Any suggestions as to how I could get these back into shape. Dye? Paint? Snake oil ?
KrisDR
Does anybody have experience with these paints from SEM?
FridgeFreezer
Google "retrobrite", does wonders for old plastics (not sure about RR interiors - worth checking!). The retro-computer crowd seem to be leading the game on this.
KrisDR
Many thanks. It does seem to be the same color as my old Commodore 64.
paintman
I've used SEM trim paint - not the aerosols, I had the mix-it-yourself variety which came with formulas for various different cars & a set of colour swatches - & found it very good. I got so little call for interior work that I didn't replace it.
SteveG
Hi Kris i haven’t personally tried it, but this comes highly recommended for vinyl... https://www.fabricspray.co.uk/shop/vinyl-spray-paint/camel-brown-vinyl-spray-paint/ cheers, Steve
KrisDR
Thanks Steve. Not sure it would work on hard plastic. In the mean time I have found a color scheme from SEM which they will also send by post. There should be a match in there.

I received the above chart by mail and the Saddle Tan (top right corner) is a very good match. I will post the results.
