Yes got some 2mm can use that , was a bit worried as there will be a fair weight there and that shelf is only 1/1.5mm ali . With my luck Muddy I'd stab myself , have welded a strap across the top and I'm making some sort of catch for the front but not a bad thought Muddy . ianmayco68 Posted April 19, 2018 Author Share Posted April 19, 2018 Well its all welded up and welds sanded , have welded a strap across the top and a strip across the front with 4 bolts welded in and will use wing nuts on there to secure it . Then welded the tabs on the bottom for the fixing holes through the floor once I've settled on the location I will drill the holes through the floor using those holes as guides then weld some m10 bolts in them that way I can remove it myself which is a bonus , but I will still use 2mm plate as a load spreader underneath . Then a test fit It hangs over quite a bit so II think that I've decided that I will push it up against the seat like were it is in the photo then doctor the tool box it will just require me to cut the lid just in front of the frame then tack it to the box , luckily it just misses the hinge , then its on to the paint . cheers Ian 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
landroversforever Posted April 19, 2018 Share Posted April 19, 2018 I know you've put the bolts on... but what about using some lynch pins?
