Bryan
Hi, my 300 tdi is fitted with Led side and indicator lights, everything works except the indicator repeater light on the dash board. The bulb has been removed if you replace the dash bulb the indicators won't work. I was told you can't get it working. The thing is when I have a trailer on the repeater on the dash for the trailer works. Could anyone help please. Cheers Bryan.
Roverdrive
Check your wing repeaters. If one of these fail, all indicators flash when trying to indicate left or right. For a proper fix, you need diodes in the supplies from each side to the dash light. I’ll see if I can dig out more info when I get home
landroversforever
I believe there's a modified dash light for this problem. Can't remember who from though.

Roverdrive
Bryan this is the kit I bought to sort mine out https://matchlessclueless.com/product-info/installation-guides/led-indicator-diode-installation/ initially for motorcycles it worked perfectly on my 300tdi. I went down this route to make sure I got the correct diodes . I should add that I did not use the scotch lock connection Edited September 18, 2018 by Roverdrive
defender dinky
When I fitted led lights to my project build indicators flash very rapid, there's a relay you can by that has a reducer on it turn power up or down which swops with your relay, normal lights need 55wats I think but led only 5watts so the extra power causes the fast repeaters, dd
western
I replaced my '89 110's tail/brake, front sidelights & all indicators with fully sealed led lights from RDX & used there LED flasher unit, I also replaced the 5w bulbs in indicator repeaters with led elements, my dash is a td5 warning light panel which is all led & has seperate left & right indicator arows, for a older vehicle you need the link above or the bolt on bits dash light that cures the problem.
