Gluv
Given that Goodyear have well and truly shot themselves in the foot supporting BLM terrorism . What Mud tyres will fit on my Wolf rims and still look the part on an ex M.O.D Wolf ? Gluv🇬🇧
western
25/85 BFG KM2 on my wolf/XD steel wheels, BFG say 6.5 wide rims are the minimum for these tyres
Gluv
Are Michelin XZL's available again ? . Whilst I was flicking on the net I'm sure I saw some with a 2020 manufacturing date 🤔 Gluv🇬🇧
steve b
Have a look at Cooper AT's in 235/85 , they have some nice square shouldered patterns that are reminiscent of 7.50-16 Steve
Chicken Drumstick
BFG KM3’s can be had in 7.50 x 16. Probably the best tyre for your use and the correct size.

Ah , now that's interesting. I do wonder if the slightly wider 235's would look right on a military vehicle . These might be a good option 👍 Gluv🇬🇧

Thon
If you're desperate for authentic MoD look, then XZLs will really be your only option as far as I know - haven't seen anything else on military Defenders in either 7.50 x 16 (Wolf HD rims) or the 235/85 x 16 (Blindo / Evo Corse rims). There are still some new ones floating around but not sure of the manufacturing dates of them. I've been using them for more than 2 years and they're a reasonable tyre but quite noisy (not that G90s were any better, just cheaper). There's a nearly new set of the 235s on a certain other Defender forum.
