Longshanks68
Hello , does anyone know if an early discovery windscreen fit a classic. From memory I seem to remember the early ones were fitted with a rubber and the face-lift ones were bonded I may well be wrong. Just thought as they share the same body shell the screens may fit. Reason being I need a screen for my Rangie but struggling to get one ,but l know of an early disco that's being broken. If this is not possible Any one got a Classic screen for sale ? Thanks Neil
Willie MacLeod
I've got a good classic (1993) RR screen here in the western isles that you can have free of charge but shipping is the biggest issue as I'm in the Western Isles. steve b
Is it MRC9506 or MTC5961? Both appear available from Britpart or Bearmach for around £100+ VAT ..from Britcar's website Steve

Eightpot
If you're getting a new seal, I would avoid bearmach - last one I fitted was like a lot of thier stuff now, utterly useless cheap chinese rubbish that ruined the job and very nearly a windscreen. Nonimouse
Just to confirm, yes the Jay (200 series) Disco screen fits. Ther are differences in the black out areas. Windscreens are still made by pilkington, although a heated screen is no longer available. Britpart do a seal kit, but it doesn't have enough filler strip in it. The filler strip is available from various classic car suppliers I bought my last screen from Autoglass for £
