My wipers work really well - they turn on and park in the correct position, but when they actually decide to do this seems almost random. Sometimes they turn off at the end of the sweep they're on, whereas on other occasions they'll carry on for about 50 further sweeps before stopping. So - this would appear to be either something wrong with the brand new Blue Box column switch, or else it's in the relay. On a old mini i grafted a mains rated microswitch in, was a bit of a faff though.
