Thanks Pete Kev Baldwin (on here) sells a Defender centre console for 200/300tdi, similar to the TD5, through his company Mudstuff.co.uk. Excellent product and not expensive. expat69
Any pic's of this Expat ?Can you post some when done ? Cheers TPK Doing the pics today and tomorrow, but will be posted after the 6th April (don't ask... ) so far so good in term of install. The base plate is only 6mm wider than the tray. Also I did not want to completely block the vent (radio one). So plate is resting at front of the dash, goes over the tray and 1/2 cover the radio vent installation so far: - removed rubber mat from tray - drilled hole in the tray area (more towards back of tray and big enough) - drilled two 5mm holes in plate and tray to put machine bolts - you need to fit the bolts (5x40) from the inside out and the nuts over the plate (otherwise you cannot refit the radio) - big hands are not very useful... - ran my wires (spread them in the hole and leave some slack... as when you fit the radio back on it will be a close fit) then it's the standard installation of switches, gauges.... I have to say that it looks very neat... Hope it helps Xavier
