goaty
Hi, I have now got my Ford leccy fan up and running on my 200tdi 90 but i wanted to ask other peps who are running them a couple of questions. I am running an X eng switch in the bottom hose and i have a racetech temp gauge to keep an eye on things. Now so far i went green laning yesterday and with all the road driving the engine didn't climb more than 80ish degrees so the fan never had to come on. Is this a normal thing for them?? or is my new gauge broke already??? O and io am running an 82 dgree stat. any info please?? thanks
FridgeFreezer
TDi's are over-cooled as standard, it's probably normal.
Les Henson
I agree with Fridge - the good condition cooling system rarely needs the fan under normal use. Dr Goon has a 300TDi CSW and it has had no fan at all on it for about 9-months. Les.

Shox Dr
Out of interest what is the correct temp the sensor needs to be, when fitting an electric fan
