Bomag
So Tonk, it looks great, works well, in fact its just what the doctor ordered, so are you going to be selling this in kit form, or just taunting those of us who dont have the facilities to make them ourselves? Jon White
Discovered a slight problem with this with regards to fitting it to a series gearbox. They fit mine and Tonks fine being as we've both got LT77's but it all gets a bit tight on a standard series box...... Probably easily got around though......... Tonk
thinkin out loud jon, if the other sided caliper was used it would robably fit a standard boxed series. i haven't really thought about making it as a kit

Mark
Having spoken to simonr at the weekend, a series version of the x-brake should be very close now.... Mark
simonr
Having spoken to simonr at the weekend, a series version of the x-brake should be very close now....Mark It is indeed close. I plasma cut a prototype back plate yesterday and I'll fold it tomorrow. Assuming my calculations are accurate, I will need a certain Series II / Lightweight for a trial fit fairly soon! (Mark?). With some help from Mark on Saturday, we have hatched a plan which will re-use the existing lever and tie rod. It should only require the removal of the bell-crank. Not having to supply a lever, mounting plate and cable will have a big impact on the cost. If Tonk & Jon do a kit as well, that will be good as no one solution will be ideal for everyone. Perhaps we could have a 'Brake-off' some time? Si
