bishbosh
What diameter and thread are the bolts that bolt it to the gearbox? I have a feeling they are M10. Can anyone confirm that? Thanks
FridgeFreezer
Pretty sure they're 17mm head which would be about right for M10.
Les Henson
Fridge is entirely correct (although I bet he had a lucky guess ). 6 x 17mm x M10 coarse thread bolts, and one M10 coarse thread nut/washer. Of coarse (lol!) there's a prefectly good thread in the Tech archive that would tell those less lazy than yourself what size they are/where they are/how dirty they might be/etc Les. FridgeFreezer
I wish it was a lucky guess - unfortunately it's far sadder than that
bishbosh
Thanks folks. I did search uncle Les, honest, but didn't find your super dooper thread!

bishbosh
Ah bit if you look carefully that thread never mentions the bolt thread size - only the head size, hence my post Also, is the 13mm headed bolt still M10 ??
Mark90
IIRC for the flanged bolts with the reduced head size, 13mm hex is M10. Normal 13mm hex bolts are M8.
Les Henson
Yes, it's probably a smaller head becuase of the limited amount of room you have in there. Les.
