trogers
Hi all Can anyone tell me if you can buy the nylon rollers that run along the tracks of the electric window mechanism. Mine decided to self destruct screwing the arm in the process. I managed to straighten the arm out and push the middle back into the roller but only a temp job. I hope I don't have to replace the whole mechanism. Thanks in advance.

Not to be a smartass here.... but it would be helpfull if you could tell us what model and year Discovery you drive.......(It's easy to put it in your signature) as for the rollers, i doubt very much they are available separately but a good machinist, with a bit of Teflon stock could build you new ones....... Ryan
I can't seem to find it as a separate part on Microcat. I think it will mean a trip to your local scrapyard.
cipx2
Here are som solutions from down under: - http://www.aulro.com/afvb/projects-tutoria...air-waynep.html - http://www.aulro.com/afvb/technical-chatte...ear-window.html I go with what landi41 suggested. You can even make your own if you have some teflon or high density polyethylene and a drill driver/machine.

You can get just the regulator from a firm in Bournemouth via E-blag for about Thirty quid. All you have to do is swap over the motor (which is why it's a lot cheaper that the Land Rover part which comes complete). Look for Part no. CUH102300 (RH) from seller "3u2". Les Henson
A complete new window regulator is very cheap. The electric motor doesn't come with it though, but it's dead easy to swap it over. Les.

Back in 03 a LR dealer charge me £64 + vat for a (supply only) n/s/f regulator not so cheap then.
Les Henson
You'd expect that kind of price from a dealer. Fortunately you can get them from the likes of Bearmach for about half that. Les.

I replaced the broken roller with a piece of flat nylon. It doesn't need to be a roller, a slide will work as well it has lasted for year so far. I posted this repair method on another site years ago . roller repair
