Quagmire Posted April 16, 2010 Share Posted April 16, 2010 Surely if you are injecting only a small % LPG then you can't damage anything through burning valves, "drying out" bores etc? My 3.5 v8 runs on LPG 99.9% of the time (not today though, everyone is out of it right now it seems)so my engine must be drier than the Atacama and its all still tickety boo. I know, i know, diesel engine/ petrol engine but surely the principles are the same? In my mind Diesel must be better lubricating than petrol to start with so you must be better off already...
