Rightfoot
Hi, I've just picked up a set of 35x10.5x16 Simex Extremes fitted to TX Performance Alloys without tubes, and will be seeing how they go on Saturday at Walters Arena. I've read a whole load of threads about pressuring down, single beadlocks, twin beadlocks, Staun Beadlocks, spinning inner tubes if pressures are too low etc. etc., which are all very interesting but I haven't got any of these So how low can I go and stand a reasonable chance of not popping the bead? Les Brock
Used to run mine at 18 Psi, but be aware that with the increased grip and large rocks at 7S watch your half shafts and CV's If you run standard stuff !
Steve 90
As Les says 18. I used to run no less than 16-18 before beadlocks. Anything less and I kept pushing tyres off rims. At 16 you'll still do it but much less often. 18 seems pretty reliable. Fitting tubes stopped them being pushed off but kept ripping valves off then! TJ101
Ditto as Les & Steve,, ran at 16 and pulled 2 off the rims, upped them to 18, and so far have been ok !! Remember to have a play in the water at 7S, as per my avatar !!
landrover598
I run my 32" simex at 16 psi without problems yet.
LR90
18 front, 15 rear.... and a bit less when off road
will_warne
A lot depends on the weight of your truck. Mine had eaten quite a lot of pies and I found 18 - 20 worked well (tubeless). Any less and you will start popping them off rims.
