What winch bumper for 8274?

Recommended Posts

Did a search on the forum, but couldn't find more options than I already have listed. My dad has bought an '84 Ninety, and would like to fit the 8274 he still has laying around for it. What bumper would you recommend, and why?

This one we like the most, it's just a bit pricy with a price tag just over a thousand pounds....

Looks great though, and proven in challenges all over Europe allready.

Last week we bought the car like this:

And currently it's looking like this:

This weekend it will be lifted using an Equipe Extreme kit, and Maxidrive in rear axle with discs will be added. Now just the bumper and sliders left to choose.

Thanks! Too bad they don't show any pictures of a bumper with Warn 8274 fitted. Would like to see it from both front and side to compare with others.

Hi there jurriaan..ive just bought a guardian winch bumper off ebay uk,its tubular heavy duty and allows very high aproach angles. it has a built in A bar too, he does a model to accept a warn winch, i think its £40 more than a standard at £225, might be to cheap for you? but i can vouch for it! he builds them himself.....look at my profile picture to the left and you will see it. click on my profile for a better pic,

kind regards tris

Thanks guys!

Is the Dutch designed competition bumper the only one with the drum completely out in the open? Looks like a nice feature to get dirt easily out in serious off-roading.

overseas shipping wouldn't be a problem to him.

A friend of mine near Hull will receive all of my UK ordered parts and I'll pick all up myself after all has arrived :) So will handle the overseas part of shipping myself ;)

Today dad ordered the X-treme bumper I mentioned in the starting post. Thanks for helping out guys!

Have you got the lift kit yet?

How much did it cost you?

Pete

Don't know Pete, got it with our donor Range Rover Classic. Will be mounted this weekend :)
