JST
Anyone found these at a decent price - eg less than £154 fitted including VAT? Or know of a similar profile 18" AT tyre? Would preffer BFG AT but they dont do 18"..... typical

BogMonster
I get them trade from Southam Tyres, if I were you I should ask them for some dealers names or see if they will supply direct, they are UK importers for General so ought to be cheapest Can't remember how much we sell them for here but it ain't that much and that includes freight and my beer tokens... I spent ages looking for AT 18s, at the moment I am 99.9% sure that the Grabber is the only AT in an 18. I should keep an eye on Coopers and the new STT pattern, about half way between AT and MT, they are producing that in lots of odd sizes including a 17 to suit the Disco 3. I think BFG do a 37x12.50R18
McS
I'm running 255/55R18 BFG AT's on my 90 - incredible tyres, even this big! They had to come across fom the US, but speaking nicely to my friendly local tyre supplier did the job Heard good things about the Generals too though... I may have dreamt this, but McS did you fit a supercharger to your Td5??? JST sorry for hijacking the thread... Ian
McS
Yeh, I'll stick some pics up when I get back home... No, you didn't dream it (although sometimes it seems like a nightmare to me )... I've got the mechanics of the thing sorted, but its trying to figure out the ECU side of things that is taking time... Plus, I've been a bit distracted with getting a Td5 in my lad's tomcat and playing in my new car... hmm, must change my signature McS
Porny
Why's the ECU side complecated??? Just need somebody with the right kit... I know somebody!!! (not me, but my mate) esp. if your 90" is pre-flash ECU. Ian
Porny
JST, Can't you send Dan in his Disco 200Tdi powered 90???... Southam tyres isn't that far from Leamington Spa. (reading the post on fitting the 200Tdi) In fact, it's classed as Leamington Spa Southam Tyres Southam Drive Kineton Road Industrial Estate Leamington Spa CV47 0RB Warwickshire Tel: 01926 813888 Might be worth seeing if they'll do them a bit cheaper. McS
Why's the ECU side complecated??? Yeh, I've got all the kit, its just difficult because I've kept the Turbo on too - trying to get the ECU to utilise the Supercharger upto 1800rpm and then then kick the turbo in is the stumbling point...
