Pete Attryde
Sorry to stray from my normal haunt of the Discovery forum, but I have a quick question for you defender owners. I am in the process of re-wiring Mike444424's L reg 110 and having connected up the hazards and indicators I am not sure if the hazard warning light is behaving correctly and Mike (having not driven the thing for a year can't remember what it should be). Basically, with the Hazards on I am getting the red warning light in the switch (well I do now I have cleaned and re-built the switch) and the Trailer symbol but no Indicator symbol. With the Indicators I get the correct warning lights of the indicator symbol and one flash of the trailer warning light symbol. Could one of you lot confirm what the hazard warning does on an un-molested vehicle please? Cheers Pete.

ChrisM_110
Mine does it too, but only with a hazard switch with illumination. An old very early One Ten switch with no light in, and the dash indicator flashed. Weird. As long as there's an indication light somewhere the MOT man won't care anyway. Pete Attryde
Cheers folks, Ralph, I hope you didn't go and video that especially. But thanks as it shows exactly what I wanted. One more thing ticked off the list. Pete.
