robhybrid
Anybody read Total off road this month? There is a vehicle on pages 68-73 running a Mormon chassis and portal axles. I gather the article is about a vehicle in France but what is a Mormon? I am interested to find out morebout these axles. anybody got any clues? ciderman
Nothing is impossible with a bit of inginuity ,But are the diffs off centred the opposite way
6cyltdi
They were, you just swap the portal boxes from front to rear axle and they're in the right place and get a second rear diff to give you two lockers....

robhybrid
I was thinking exactly the same just swap casings front to rear plus a possible dable with welder and saw.
honitonhobbit
Didn't know TOR was still about. Do they sell it in the shops or is it just subscription these days. Last tiem I read it it was going downhill so fast I was reminded of Cool Runnings. Only things that kept it going were Tailor's pictures and Gibson's words
