rob90
after finishing my night shift and sat waiting for couriers till 12.00 I got into the garage about 12.30. messed about with a few things then got to the main job of the day fitting the locking diff in the rear. stripped it down spent ages trying to get the drivers side half shaft out and ended up making a puller out of threaded bar and some nuts behind the flange. god knows why it wouldnt come out. Anyway built it back up, freezing cold and loosing the light got the prop back on, topped it up with new oil cleaned tools and put them away. job well done....... nope went back into the garage to turn every thing off and saw the new paper gasket for the diff sat on the work bench at least I know what im doing tomorrow

Steve Hiatt
Might be worth easing the diff back a bit and trying silicone, safari boys say it's better than a gasket.
