Re-filling jack

Is it a plastic bodied one, orange colour bottle thing? If yes, take it to the dealer and demand a replacement - it was good enough for the MoD so it should be for you - the MoD replaced the whole WOLF fleet jacks cos the placcy bodied things leaked at the drop of a hat - they were all replaced with nice metal bodied ones at no cost.

If it's already metal then depending on the severity of the leak you can top it back up with clean engine oil, but I'd have to say why bother for the cost of a new jack.

You could look at this & see if it's worthwhile. The bloke who wrote it is ex (?) RAEME.

Jack repairs

Dont just refill as it will leak again. Find someone in CT that can redoo the seals and refill the jack with the correct fluid. It can be done and is a lot cheaper than a new jack in SA
