rtbarton
You might find a supplier here Steel Suppliers
Jon White
Paddocks or any of the usual suppliers do the repair sections. Defender ones are different but can be bodged with the series part (I have done so in the past), although I beleive someone was doing the correct ones a while back but cant remeber who. disco tony
I have just looked on e-bay but cant seem to find what I'm looking for. Some time ago, (less than a year though), there was somebody close to you, I think Frome?, who was advertising defender (or series) door repairs. Bring in your door in any condition, (frame wise), and they would fabricate new parts and make it like new for £100 per door. May be worth a bit more investigation? Bluemoon
I,ve bought stuff from this guy, you get enough to do two doors or more , depending what yours are like, Defender and series style as well as other parts. ask for a discount in exchange for a mention on the forum, you never know. LittleBlue88
The place near Frome is Landrovers UK,its in Mells about half-way between Radstock and Frome. I used to work there, the man responsible for the door repairs is Stu and ive not worked with a better welder than him. BUT,i would have considered that buying new door bottoms to be a cheaper and easier option in the case of series doors instead of repairing.
