Gilslandy
hi guys, can anyone pls tell me where to fit the pipe (engine side) of the boost gauge on a td5? is it like a tdi on the turbo moneyfold? thanks gil
western
have a look around the turbo wastegate actuator, there maybe a nylon pipe you can connect in to to run a boost gaue.
darkman
Just like Western says, the pipe can be cut in half and you fit a t piece in and thats it.

Bell-Auto-Services
You should actualy fit it as near to the inlet manifold as possibile, just like the inlet/temp/pressure sensor is. I advise you drill and tap the inlet manifold in the thick part next to the egr housing. Pete
rusty_wingnut
Inlet manifold will give you real world conditions...

Gilslandy
thanks western... so if i drill this and taps it and get a festo pipe out of it will it be good?? i have the egr removed and instead i have this. would it give an accurate reading?? thanks guys!! u r really helpful. gil
tomaco1
Is this much less accurate than drilling and tapping the inlet manifold? have a look around the turbo waste-gate actuator, there maybe a nylon pipe you can connect in to to run a boost gaue.
