bishbosh
I don't know what you mean by "pull and push" ans the prop is held on with bolts!! If you buy a new prop it is simply a case of unbolting the old and bolting on the new. You might want to invest in new nylocs for the propshaft bolts. Be sure to chock the wheels before taking the prop off or put it in diff lock with the handbrake on!

Bowie69
thanx what i meant was pull out the old one and push on a new one . No, you need to undo and do up 4 bolts per flange
errol209
No, you need to undo and do up 4 bolts per flange Err.... with a possibility of a hint of "rive off 4 badly rounded and seized nuts and 4 stretched bolts per flange, throw away, replace with new items correctly torqued up; seek medical attention for skinned knuckles"
FridgeFreezer
And if you mean the diff pinion is loose, rather than the propshaft UJ, then you need to replace that not the prop.
