hi all, a few months ago i did a disco 200tdi conversion on my defender 90,swopping engine, gearbox, and transferbox.running sweet, but i had difficulty to find a cubby box and console to fit because gearstick was brought futher back just iside seatbox, so i made one <_<:rolleyes: alot of trial & errror's. first pic,made box, thought i put this up beats watching x craptor :lol::lol: defender dinky

made the box & console rounded edges off and covered it with foam

& pvc

i fitted it in friday looks ok yer,

Looks great. Nice job. I'm impressed. Once i've fixed what needs fixing (never ending job it seems), this is next on my list. Do you have dimensions for the wooden frame by any chance? I have made myself a wooden replica mud console whcih works well, which i still have to cover. Where did you get the covering material from for the cubby?

hi, beleive it or not carboot £2.00, spray adesive wickes £3.00 and begged the 1/4" foam, i will put up dimensions tomorrow night golfing all day :):lol: defender dinky
