JST Posted October 19, 2009 Share Posted October 19, 2009 i am going to be running the 4th DRD of the season at Bampton on the 20 Dec 09, its a good opportunity to get out and spend a non competitive relaxing (?) day doing some of the routes that have been developed over the years. The whole day takes place on private land, you need to be have MTs, front and rear recovery points, a first aid kit and a fire ext in your vehicle. You can bring as many people that your vehicles has proper seating with seat belts for. I am putting this up in advance as last weekends, and the next two (22 Nov and 6 Dec) days have all filled quickly. Spaces are done first come first served. darthdicky Posted December 20, 2009 Share Posted December 20, 2009 Fantastic day out, weather varied from sunshine to snow. Think I did everything except for the water run, I have enough problems with alternators without putting it through that! All sorts of fun obstacles to tackle and a really friendly atmosphere between everyone taking part. Only damage seems to be the front numberplate (which I should have taken off really), slight dent in the wing and a bit of paint off the rear wheelarch spats. That's all due to the frozen ground, if it was warmer it wouldn't have been so hard! My photos are up here: http://picasaweb.google.com/richwatsonphotos/ Few of the better ones...
