MECCANO
I got some brushable sealer in halfrauds a while back, think it was called grey stripe. Seems to do the trick. Make sure you use it in a well ventilated area though . It doesn't react to well with some paints so do a tester first!
pinny
sikaflex takes a lot of beating but aint cheap failing that a can of underbody sealant brush on plenty once its dry the carpet will cover it and wont be seen ill check my shed to see if i still have some sikaflex, chris. mobyone
sikaflex, without doubt is fantastic. besides, it is for marine applications and so is fine even with loads of of water/salt/pretty much anything. well worth the money..... however is readily availible in other brand names. just search for polyurethane. bondaseal rings a bell too. cloned stuff is probably fine. just remember whichever sealant you use, clean the area thoroughly with meths or acetone and not white spirits so it sticks as it should to metal not grease. richard
