disco_al
Went for a bit of sledging action on Hay Bluff yesterday (3/1) with the family (all 7 seats occupied in the Disco). Was darn cold, but the Disco kept on going through the snow. Needed low range and diff lock for the last little bank, at one point was sliding backwards, whilst in 2nd gear trying to go forwards

Steve 90
Blimey, You must have just missed us, We were up there trying to get over the gospel pass (which we did successfully). Was deep in places.

Steve 90
How do you know where the track is? Yea it was a bit like that . I know the road quite well, Its only a couple of miles from my house and I travel it a couple of times a week!
disco_al
thats where we were, just past the top car park by the pile of round bales
Steve 90
Those pics were taken quite a bit further along than the round bales, All the way along the Pass then turn around the end of the mountain. We were the only ones to travel the road in days.

darthdicky
I was up there on the 2nd, saw two vehicles heading up over a pass but looked like they were struggling. Was on my own and didn't want to slide off the edge so just stuck to the roads up there. Disappointed to see a number of Navara/L200 drivers just driving around all over the place - one was trying to head directly up the big hill and digging ruts through to the ground underneath which is going to please the ramblers when it thaws out... Looks like fun Steve and at least you were sticking to the roads!
