Orange
You will need some of these... bolts and some of these: Square nuts as normal nuts don't self-secure in the casing. I think the nearest metric size is M12...
dirtyninety
Is there not a cheaper option?
LandyManLuke
If someone can tell you the size (It's definitely not metric), you should be able to buy them for pence from a decent nut/bolt/fasteners supplier.
gaz489
ok so does anyone know the actual size of the bolts?
Bush65
The bolts are 3/8" diameter and the square nuts are 3/4" across flats and 3/8" thick.

reads90
Use 3.5 v 8 head bolts same stupid yank thread and work well What my 8274 was fixed to my Arb bumper with They cost about a quid each if that and from memory they come in three different sizes
antichrist
Did I hear anyone say high tensile? Not really needed for an 8274 mount. All the bolt need to do is to keep the winch from dropping to the ground when you're driving. When winching there's little to no stress on the mounting hardware. Now for winches than mount on the bottom or sides, yes, definitely high tensile.

So used to people around here getting their knickers in a twist every time someone uses anything other than high tensile on a winch mount of any sort.
